An 18-year-old individual has been apprehended in connection with a homicide investigation regarding the passing of a 79-year-old male. The elderly individual was attacked in Garforth, Leeds at approximately 6:30 pm yesterday as reported by law enforcement authorities. Upon being transported to a medical facility, the victim was declared deceased.

West Yorkshire Police issued a statement stating, “Emergency services were notified yesterday (29 October) at 6:35 pm by the ambulance service regarding an assault on a 79-year-old male. Despite efforts, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. An 18-year-old male has been apprehended on suspicion of murder and is presently in police custody. The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team detectives are conducting thorough investigations.”
