Sci-fi enthusiasts are puzzled by a video showing what appears to be a UFO hovering near an active volcano. The footage captured by a webcam shows the unidentified glowing object above the Popocatepetl crater in the Mexican states of Puebla and Morelos before swiftly darting away at high speeds. The strange craft seemed to be observing the volcanic activity as smoke and flames billowed into the sky. Monitoring cameras at the base of the volcano recorded this mysterious event.
Popocatepetl, towering at 17,802 feet (5,426 meters) above sea level, is among Mexico’s most active volcanoes. Despite the sightings, local authorities have not commented on the origin of the UFO.
On the same day, the National Center for Disaster Prevention documented 19 minor eruptions along with vapor, gases, and slight ash emissions. They advised the public to maintain a safe distance from the crater and adhere to the 12-kilometer exclusion zone.
UFO expert Jaime Maussan previously suggested that Popocatepetl might serve as an “inter-dimensional portal,” enabling interstellar travelers to move between different locations. He highlighted the extreme temperatures inside the volcano, reaching approximately 1,000 degrees Celsius, making it improbable for man-made objects to enter.
Maussan referenced research by the University of Bergen in Norway, indicating the presence of magnetic storms beneath the volcano essential for creating X-points. These X-points connect Earth’s and the Sun’s magnetic fields, facilitating travel between the two. Additionally, enthusiasts have raised concerns about a potential cover-up following an aircraft crash near Area 51, prompting thorough investigations by military and law enforcement agencies.
The incident, occurring on September 23 close to the classified facility in Nevada, involved an aircraft from the Creech Air Force Base. While internal inquiries have concluded, a joint investigation by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the FBI has sparked curiosity among UFO enthusiasts. The FAA imposed temporary flight restrictions around Area 51 for national security reasons, with specific details surrounding the crash shrouded in secrecy.
