A popular pharmacy chain on the high street has come to the rescue of 60 struggling branches belonging to a competitor. Allied Pharmacies has assumed control of 60 Jhoots Pharmacies locations, most of which are currently closed. However, Allied has assured the public of its commitment to restoring essential pharmacy services at these sites.

The ownership of Jhoots Pharmacies is divided between brothers Manjit and Sarbjit Jhooty. While Manjit oversees more than 20 branches under his companies Pasab and Jhoots Healthcare, Sarbjit is reportedly in charge of the remaining 129 locations.
Manjit Jhooty’s spokesperson assured that the pharmacies under his management are financially stable and continue to provide essential services to local communities. Sarbjit Jhooty acknowledged workforce and recruitment challenges, stating efforts are underway to address these issues.
