Virgin Media users subscribed to Sky Entertainment channels are in for a treat next month. Sky Atlantic will be added for free to their package, offering access to popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus without any increase in bills.
This update is set to roll out to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers starting from April 1. To enjoy Sky Atlantic programming, customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform. Additionally, the content will be available on-demand and through Virgin TV Go.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, expressed the company’s commitment to providing valuable entertainment options. He highlighted the allure of Sky Atlantic’s compelling dramas and stories from both the UK and the US. This addition will benefit over a million Virgin TV customers at no extra cost.
In related news, Sky has unveiled its new Ultimate TV plan, featuring a range of premium channels like Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.
Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described this update as a “new era” for Sky and NOW, consolidating Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription.
