A 24-year-old individual from Cornwall has passed away in Argentina due to a severe allergic reaction. Harry James Kitto lost his life on November 7 following a week-long struggle to survive. His family mentioned on the fundraising platform they established to assist with medical expenses that Harry passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. The funds raised will now be utilized to bring Harry’s remains back from Buenos Aires to Cornwall.
On the fundraising page, Harry’s family expressed, “Our wonderful and talented son, Harry Kitto, fought for his life in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after experiencing a devastating allergic reaction while traveling with his incredibly strong, courageous, and valiant girlfriend, Naomi.” The fundraising effort has amassed over £54,000.
They added, “For more than a week, he exhibited exceptional resilience and resolve — qualities that made all who knew him immensely proud. Despite the relentless efforts of the medical staff and Harry’s remarkable battle, the doctors confirmed his brain death, concluding that there were no further treatment options.”
Those willing to contribute to Harry’s fundraiser can do so online. Any surplus funds will be directed to support The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, which aided the family during Harry’s illness.
