“Heated Rivalry” Season 2 Filming Underway, Fans Urged to Respect Privacy

Date:

Attention fans of the popular TV series “Heated Rivalry”: The Straw + Berry won’t be serving smoothies to you, and the cottage is off-limits for now. Season 2 of “Heated Rivalry” is currently in production, and director Jacob Tierney has kindly requested that fans give the cast and crew space while filming.

The filming of “Heated Rivalry” Season 2 is primarily taking place in Toronto and Montreal, with the possibility of returning to familiar locations in Hamilton, Ontario. Fans have been eager to catch glimpses of the show’s stars, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who were recently spotted together in downtown Toronto. Williams caused a stir when he was photographed carrying a Canadian Tire reusable bag, sparking a shopping frenzy.

The queer hockey romance series garnered a global fan base upon its late 2025 premiere, propelling Williams and Storrie to newfound fame in the Canadian TV landscape. Both actors have been mindful of setting boundaries with fans and the media. Recent incidents include Storrie declining fan photos in Toronto and Williams facing a confrontation with alleged autograph-sellers in Paris last month.

While “Heated Rivalry” is not the only production attracting attention in Toronto, with Sarah Polley’s film adaptation of “The Bell Jar” featuring Billie Eilish, efforts to maintain a closed set have been challenged by leaked photos on social media. Unlike “Heated Rivalry,” there hasn’t been a public request for space from the film’s director or official accounts yet.
