Having initially fractured his tibia on October 5, Bombito managed to return to the field for Canada during the summer, participating in three out of five matches. Despite his efforts, he acknowledged that he was not performing at his best due to the discomfort caused by his injury. He expressed disappointment but determination to overcome the setback and return to full strength.
Bombito, who joined Nice in 2024 following his stint with the Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer, emphasized the constant pain and discomfort he experiences during physical activities.
