Benjamin Satterley, a prominent pro wrestler from England and a key figure in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) based in the U.S., has passed away at the age of 40. AEW confirmed Satterley’s death, known by his ring name Pac, through their social media platforms on Sunday evening. The exact cause of his death has not been disclosed. Despite his recent appearance on television competing in a match against Andrade el Idolo in Chicago, Satterley’s demise was unexpected.
Hailing from Newcastle, England, Satterley commenced his wrestling journey in 2004 in the U.K. He ventured into various independent wrestling circuits globally, including Japan and Mexico, earning admiration from fans for his distinctive blend of acrobatic maneuvers and muscular physique. Fascinated by wrestling from a young age due to his aunt’s interest in WWF, Satterley’s career saw him wrestling in World Wrestling Entertainment from 2012 to 2018 under the name Adrian Neville, notably contributing to the NXT developmental program and cruiserweight division.
Transitioning to All Elite Wrestling in 2019, Satterley engaged in matches with top talents within the company and secured multiple championships, notably becoming the inaugural international champion.
