Bernie Ecclestone’s spouse has shared insights on how they manage raising their five-year-old child, despite their significant 46-year age gap. The ex-Formula One chief, aged 95, and his 49-year-old partner reside in the serene Swiss town of Gstaad.
They welcomed their son into the world in 2020 when Ecclestone was 89, eight years after tying the knot. The family divides their time between the picturesque Swiss Alps and Fabiana’s native Brazil.
Their son, Ace, is being brought up to be trilingual, fluent in Portuguese from his mother, English from his father, and Swiss German from attending the International Preschool in Gstaad.
In a recent interview with Bild, Fabiana discussed their parenting dynamic, emphasizing how they work as a united front to raise Ace. Ecclestone, once a dominant force in motorsport, expressed admiration for his son’s potential and intelligence, foreseeing a bright future ahead.
Revealing further details, Fabiana shared Ace’s early skiing endeavors and his diverse food preferences, highlighting his love for sushi. Ecclestone hopes to maintain a youthful connection with Ace, acknowledging the importance of treating him as the bright young boy he is.
Despite the vast age difference between Ecclestone’s eldest child, Deborah, and Ace, the family enjoys their time together. Ecclestone, opting for a low-key celebration, expressed his preference for spending time with his wife and son at their Brazilian ranch rather than a lavish party.
The family recently sold a yacht, seldom used, which was named after Ecclestone’s daughters. Another yacht, owned by the former Formula 1 magnate, is also up for sale in Ibiza.
