The reason behind the death of Bárbara Jankavski, a well-known Brazilian influencer known as Human Barbie, has been officially determined. Sadly, she passed away at the age of 31 on November 2, 2025, after being found unconscious in the São Paulo apartment of Renato Campos Pinto de Vitto, a 51-year-old public defender. Authorities have concluded that her death was accidental and resulted from the use of cocaine.
After confirming her death, a detailed investigation was initiated following Pinto de Vitto’s statement to the police, revealing that he had paid Jankavski for “sexual services” on the night of her demise. According to a police report, he disclosed that they both consumed illicit substances before going to sleep.
Although the influencer’s cause of death aligns with the public defender’s account, her family members have raised doubts about the findings. Pinto de Vitto reportedly called emergency services upon noticing Jankavski’s lack of movement during her sleep. He mentioned attempting to assist her for nearly nine minutes before paramedics arrived, but unfortunately, she was already deceased when medical professionals arrived.
When the São Paulo State Military Police arrived at the apartment, they found Jankavski in only her underwear, with bruising on her back and an injury near her left eye. A friend informed the police that she had fallen and injured her face earlier in the week. Jankavski had gained a significant following on social media, with 55,000 Instagram followers and 344,000 on TikTok, after documenting her aesthetic transformation journey.
Known for undergoing 27 plastic surgeries to resemble a Barbie doll, her last known procedure was a facelift in June 2025. Prior to her death, she had been inactive on social media for over a month. Her final social media post featured Avós Da Razão, another content creator, in a video where they shared a touching moment, with Jankavski expressing her desire to meet Razão.
Upon news of her passing, Razão mourned, saying, “How sad. Rest in peace, flower.” Many others also expressed their condolences in the comments, with one fan stating, “Rest in peace, my love,” another writing, “Rest in peace to my Barbie doll,” and a third expressing devastation over the news and bidding farewell to Barbara.
