A British tourist passed away shortly after arriving at a hotel in Belize, with witnesses noting a loud noise. The 52-year-old man had checked into the Casa Vista Hotel on Caye Caulker island and was found unconscious on the ground by neighbors within a day of his arrival.
Upon discovery, the man was swiftly taken to the Caye Caulker Health Center, but despite medical efforts, he tragically succumbed to his injuries later that same day. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.
According to officer Stacy Smith as reported by The Sun, police officers responded to a report of an unconscious male at the health clinic on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The preliminary findings suggest that the man was heard falling by several individuals in the vicinity, prompting immediate action to seek medical assistance.
The cause of the man’s injuries remains unclear at this time. This incident follows another recent case where a British national was discovered deceased in Malta.
