Luke Littler firmly states that he will not be following his friend Angry Ginge into the jungle despite the YouTuber’s recent victory in a popular reality TV show. Littler, a world champion darts player, congratulated Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, on winning “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.” However, Littler, who is gearing up to defend his Professional Darts Corporation title at Alexandra Palace, has made it clear that he will not participate in the challenging bushtucker trials shown on the show.
The 18-year-old darts prodigy from Warrington expressed his reluctance to endure extreme challenges like eating kangaroo anus or crocodile genitalia just for entertainment. Littler mentioned that while he initially considered joining the jungle for the right compensation, after watching the show, he has firmly decided against it. He emphasized that being far away from home, consuming unappetizing food, and enduring grueling trials are not something he is willing to experience.
Despite witnessing his friend’s success in the jungle, Littler affirmed that he personally could not endure the challenges showcased on the show. He particularly cited the daunting experiences faced by other contestants, such as rapper Aitch, as reasons why he would never participate in such trials. Burtwistle emerged as the victor of the reality show, with Tom Read Wilson as the runner-up and Eastenders actress Shona McGarty securing third place.
In the final bushtucker trial, Angry Ginge faced terrifying challenges, including snakes and insects, in a task called the “Helmet of Hell,” while Read Wilson had to consume unconventional foods like camel’s brain and pig’s reproductive organ. Meanwhile, Littler celebrated his friend’s triumph by attending a Manchester United match in Australia, where he was spotted alongside the club’s fans at Molineux Stadium during a 4-1 victory over Wolves.
During the match, TV cameras captured Littler’s presence next to Rick McGagh, United’s head of fan engagement. United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes, who scored twice in the game, acknowledged Littler’s tweet about enjoying his first away game by responding with a darts emoji.
