Darts Prodigy Supports YouTube Star on Jungle Show

Date:

Darts prodigy Luke Littler has endorsed Angry Ginge, a participant on the reality show “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here,” for success in the jungle. The 18-year-old, who is acquainted with the online personality Morgan Burtwistle, hinted at a potential future expedition to Australia.

A devoted Manchester United supporter and streamer, Angry Ginge touched down at Brisbane airport this week in preparation for the show’s debut on November 16. Bookmakers have already placed Burtwistle as the frontrunner to be crowned the jungle king when the show airs on ITV.

Meanwhile, Littler smoothly advanced to the knockout phase of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton with a commanding 5-1 victory over Daryl Gurney, continuing his title defense. While awaiting his next opponent in the Grand Slam, he eagerly anticipates the commencement of the reality series in Australia.

In an interview with SportsBoom, Littler expressed confidence in his close friend Angry Ginge’s ability to excel in challenging conditions, stating, “I think he’s going to do very well. I’ve known for a very long time. We’ll have to vote him on and see what he has to eat.”

Although Littler could be a promising candidate for future seasons of the television program, securing the talented darts player for the show might require a substantial investment from TV executives. When questioned about the possibility of joining the jungle show, Littler responded, “Erm maybe… If they come around for the right price. I might go over for a couple weeks.”

Angry Ginge received a warm welcome from fans and journalists upon his arrival in Australia on Monday. The 23-year-old shared his sentiments about missing his cherished Manchester United and his mother, injecting humor into his interactions with the press.

“I did a Duke of Edinburgh bronze award at school so I am not too bad at camping,” he quipped. “One of the reasons I vowed to never go to Australia was because of the spiders and animals so I am hoping the hotel is secure.”

In a YouTube video announcing his participation in the reality show, Angry Ginge expressed his wish for Manchester United’s success in the matches during his absence, optimistically aiming for the team to secure a high position in the league upon his return in early December. He said, “Hello there. If you are seeing this, I have officially been announced that I am going in the jungle. That’s what I’m praying for. I’m hoping I come out, Man Utd are second in the league and going for the title… Arsenal are dropping points.”
