“Deadly Explosion Rocks New Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station”

A massive explosion occurred at a bustling station in New Delhi, resulting in the death of at least ten individuals and causing injuries to several others. Firefighters swiftly responded to the incident at Red Fort Metro Station, where a parked vehicle was completely destroyed by the blast. Video footage captured in the aftermath revealed multiple burnt vehicles and debris scattered across the area, with police and medical teams rushing to the scene. The explosion triggered a significant fire that damaged numerous vehicles, prompting the deployment of seven fire engines to combat the flames.

Reports indicate that ten fatalities have been confirmed, and numerous injured individuals have been transported to Delhi’s LNJP hospital. Eyewitnesses described the harrowing experience, with one resident expressing fear for their life upon hearing the explosion that knocked people to the ground. Another witness recounted the deafening blast, causing them to fall multiple times and creating a sense of impending doom. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the car explosion, with AK Malik, Deputy Chief Fire Officer of the New Delhi Fire Department, providing details of the immediate response to the incident.
