A tragic event unfolded at Disney World Florida as a devoted fan, Summer Equitz, sadly took her own life by jumping from a 12th-floor balcony at the Contemporary Resort. Witnesses recounted the harrowing moment they heard a loud noise, followed by the sight of Summer on the ground just yards away from them.
A couple staying at the hotel described the heart-wrenching scene of Summer’s fall, with one witness approaching to check her condition, finding her unresponsive. Meanwhile, a hotel staff member on a higher floor noticed a bag left on the railing where Summer had leapt.
Summer, who had previously worked at Disneyland Anaheim, had celebrated her honeymoon at Walt Disney World with her husband not long before the tragic incident. Just months earlier, she had joyfully announced her pregnancy on social media, sharing a photo with her husband holding an ultrasound.
This unfortunate event came shortly after another tragedy at Disneyland in California, where a woman in her 60s passed away after riding the Haunted Mansion. Despite efforts to revive her, she was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
