Tesco’s latest offer for Clubcard members this December includes earning double points for every £1 spent on gift cards. The promotion, available throughout December at Tesco stores, extends to all third-party gift cards, not limited to Tesco’s own. The bonus points will be automatically credited to the Clubcard account upon purchase.
According to Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, the promotion aims to simplify the challenge of finding the perfect Christmas gift. By offering two points for every £1 spent on gift cards, Tesco ensures customers can give thoughtful gifts while receiving rewards for themselves, creating a mutually beneficial situation.
Tesco currently boasts around 24 million Clubcard members who enjoy various benefits. Clubcard points are earned for every £1 spent on groceries in-store or online, for every two litres of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations, and for transactions made with Tesco Mobile or Tesco credit cards. Additionally, using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card also accrues points. To redeem points, a minimum of 150 points is required to receive a £1.50 Clubcard voucher valid for spending at Tesco.
In related news, Jordon Cox, known as the Coupon King, has shared a money-saving tip for Tesco shoppers. He revealed a method to decipher expiration dates of deals at Tesco by identifying a specific six-digit number on items under Clubcard Price promotion. By decoding this number, shoppers can determine the expiry date and plan their purchases strategically to save money during shopping trips.
