Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime is set to lead the Canadian team in the upcoming second round of Davis Cup qualifiers to be held in Quebec City next month. Tennis Canada has announced that Auger-Aliassime will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ont., and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ont.
Canada, currently ranked 12th in the tournament, is scheduled to face sixth-ranked France in a best-of-five tie at Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals slated for November. Canada previously secured a 3-2 victory over Brazil in the initial round of qualifiers last February, while France earned their spot by defeating Slovakia with a 3-1 win.
