Greggs has officially announced the highly anticipated return of its Festive Bake, exciting fans who won’t have to wait much longer. The bakery chain has revealed that its Christmas menu will be available in stores starting next Thursday, November 6. For those unfamiliar, the Festive Bake is a delicious pastry filled with chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, and topped with a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.
Described by Greggs as an essential part of the holiday season, the Festive Bake is likened to traditional Christmas elements like receiving socks in your stocking or attending a memorable office party – making it a must-have during the festive period.
Additionally, the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition), formerly known as the Vegan Festive Bake, will also be back on shelves across the country. This vegan option features Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing, vegan bacon, and is finished with cranberry and red onion sauce.
In addition to the Festive Bake offerings, customers can enjoy the Hot Christmas Lunch Baguette, providing a convenient on-the-go version of a Christmas dinner. This baguette is packed with chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, melted cheddar, cranberry relish, and onion gravy.
Furthermore, the Hot Festive Flatbread is returning, featuring sage and onion chicken mayo, bacon, and cranberry relish all enclosed in a warm flatbread. For those with a sweet tooth, a variety of festive treats will be available, including the Christmas Cake Slice, Gingerbread Muffin, Chocolate & Hazelnut Doughnut, and Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads.
To complement these festive delights, Greggs will introduce a range of seasonal hot drinks to keep you warm this winter, including the Mint Mocha, Mint Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Latte, and Salted Caramel Latte, with the latter two also available iced.
