“Judge Judy’s Son Steps Up in New TV Courtroom Show”

Date:

A fresh face has entered the TV courtroom scene as CBS Media Ventures unveiled a trailer for “Adam’s Law,” a new daytime syndicated series featuring Adam Levy, the 58-year-old son of the renowned Judge Judy. Fans of Judge Judy’s no-nonsense style will be pleased to see Levy channeling a similar energy, delivering sharp and witty remarks from the bench.

Despite initial reluctance, Judge Judy herself, Judith Sheindlin, admits in the trailer that she didn’t push her son to take on the show years ago because she wasn’t ready to step down. Sheindlin humorously acknowledges her son’s talent, expressing a bit of competitiveness, saying she doesn’t like the idea of him outshining her.

Executive produced by Sheindlin, “Adam’s Law” is scheduled to debut on September 14, five years after the conclusion of the original “Judge Judy” series, which enjoyed a successful 25-season run on CBS. With Levy’s extensive legal background, including experience as a district attorney and educator, viewers can anticipate a commitment to truth and justice on the new show.

Sheindlin is confident in Levy’s abilities, believing that he will capture the audience much like she has over the past three decades. The show is set to air on various CBS-owned stations in the U.S., including CBS LA and WCBS-TV, as well as in Canada on Citytv and Citytv+ starting September 14.
