Avisha Tewani, a professional model, has shared that she can make up to four figures daily by showcasing only one body part – her hands. She entered the industry in 2020 after previously working as a freelance stylist. Her hand modeling career took off quickly after submitting photos from a family member’s shoot to an agent.
Avisha has since landed gigs with major brands like Starbucks, Coca-Cola, Absolut Vodka, and Kylie Cosmetics. To maintain her hands’ pristine condition, she has made adjustments like giving up cycling and wearing gloves while doing daily tasks. Earnings from modeling range from $300 to $3,000 per day, leading her to expand into modeling other body parts such as legs, feet, ears, and neck.
Despite the lucrative opportunities, Avisha had to make lifestyle changes to protect her hands, like discontinuing boxing to avoid injuries. She now takes extra care during daily activities to prevent any harm. Her work schedule can vary from two to 12 hours per day, with diverse crew sizes depending on the project’s scope.
Before each shoot, Avisha ensures her hands are well-prepped with a manicure tailored to the client’s preferences. Payment varies based on the client’s needs, with rates ranging from $300 to $3,000 per day. The industry’s demand for middle skin tone individuals has also worked in her favor, providing more opportunities due to evolving client preferences.
