Police in Australia are currently investigating the tragic death of a one-year-old child and have reached out to the public for any information that may assist in the case. The incident occurred at the child’s residence, located approximately 110km northwest of Melbourne, where he was found unresponsive around noon on Tuesday, November 4.
The child was rushed to the hospital by his 26-year-old mother and her 18-year-old partner but, unfortunately, passed away on Thursday, November 6. Authorities from Victoria Police are still working to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
Detectives from the Homicide Squad and the Ballarat Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Investigation Team have already interviewed the child’s mother and her partner as part of the ongoing investigation.
