The 57-year-old artist expressed, “It was a daunting experience trying to recover from the anesthesia. Although brief, there was a slight risk involved. General anesthesia always carries inherent risks.”
During her unconscious state, Paty described a nightmarish vision she endured, recalling, “I found myself in a terrifying dream that remains vivid in my memory. I was in a grim, desperate setting with lots of mud and sorrowful faces protruding from the earth, akin to a scene from a horror film. It felt like hell.”
This traumatic event occurred in 2019 during a breast surgery procedure, prompting Paty to develop a deep apprehension towards cosmetic surgeries. The incident heightened her awareness of associated risks, leading her to reduce smoking habits as advised by medical professionals.
