Ryanair has introduced two new flight routes from the UK to an attractive Spanish city known for its vibrant streets and pleasant 20C weather in November.

The airline has expanded its services to Alicante, offering a total of 79 routes from this popular Spanish destination. Among the new additions to the schedule are flights to Bratislava, Linz, Salzburg, Bydgoszcz, Rzeszow, Stockholm Västerås, Småland, and Lanzarote.

Of particular interest to UK travelers are the newly launched direct flights from Cardiff and Aberdeen to Alicante. The Aberdeen route will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays with ticket prices starting at £22 in December. Similarly, the Cardiff route will be operational on most days in December, with tickets available for as low as £20.

Alicante offers a compelling winter getaway option with its pleasant climate. With November temperatures reaching 20C, visitors can enjoy the city’s sandy beaches and escape the gloomy UK weather.

Renowned for its 300 days of sunshine per year and picturesque landscape, Alicante is a favored destination for golf enthusiasts. The city boasts top-notch golf courses like Las Colinas, Lo Romero, La Finca, and Melia Villaitana, attracting golfers from across Europe.

Apart from golf, Alicante’s charm lies in its blend of old and new architectural styles, reflecting its history post-civil war. The city’s iconic Castle of Santa Bárbara overlooks the old quarter, where annual cultural events like the Festival of Moors and the Night of San Juan take place.

Exploring the winding streets of the Old Town reveals a vibrant mix of pubs, bars, and restaurants that cater to diverse tastes. The city’s mosaic promenade, La Explanada de España, adorned with 6.5 million marble tiles, is a must-visit spot offering a scenic stroll along the marina.

Alicante’s efficient tram system provides easy access to major attractions, including the popular Playa del Postiguet beach and the historical Castle of Santa Bárbara. The city’s culinary scene is equally enticing, with venues like Santa Gloria, Bar Cento, and Café Tres Texturas serving delectable local cuisine.

For those craving a taste of home, establishments like Browns offer British-inspired dishes, including the acclaimed Sunday carvery. Whether seeking cultural experiences, scenic vistas, or culinary delights, Alicante promises a memorable holiday for all types of travelers.
