Samsung has officially announced that the upcoming Galaxy S series will be revealed at the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for February 25 in San Francisco. The event will showcase the new Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup, which includes the standard S26, the S26 Plus, and the S26 Ultra. The Galaxy Unpacked event will be live-streamed on the Samsung website starting at 6pm GMT.
For those interested in the event, Samsung is offering various perks for pre-registration. By signing up, fans can receive a £30 voucher for Galaxy ecosystem products, double storage when pre-ordering a new phone, and a chance to win one of 10 £500 Samsung vouchers.
Samsung emphasized that the new Galaxy S series is designed to enhance daily experiences with integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) features. The company stated that these smartphones signify a new era of AI, aiming to simplify interactions, boost confidence, and seamlessly integrate Galaxy AI into everyday use.
As the launch date approaches, retailers are reducing prices of the current Galaxy S25 range to make way for the new models. Sky Mobile, for instance, has lowered the monthly cost of the S25 Ultra from £43 to £31, offering a substantial saving of £432 over the contract period. However, customers should note that a 36-month commitment is required, and the plan includes a 100MB data allowance, which may require additional data packages at extra cost.
Customers can also enjoy discounts on the standard S25 and S25 Ultra models at Amazon, with prices reduced by 20% on select models. The S25 is now priced at £639.20 (originally £799), while the S25 Ultra is available for £999.20 (originally £1,249). This offer is valid until February 24 or while stocks last.
