KSI launched a fierce social media assault after Andrew Tate’s loss to Chase DeMoor at the Misfits Mania main event on Saturday night. The two had been engaged in a public feud since October when Tate took over as Misfits Boxing’s CEO, replacing KSI, who co-founded the organization with manager Mams Taylor.
Expressing his discontent over the leadership change, the popular YouTuber celebrated Anthony Joshua’s victory over Jake Paul on Twitter before the fight began. KSI has a longstanding rivalry with Paul, originating from their earlier boxing encounters involving their siblings.
In a tweet, KSI mentioned his desire for an Arsenal win and Tate’s defeat to complete a “fantastic weekend.” Arsenal indeed won 1-0 against Everton in Merseyside, prompting KSI to tweet, “This is the best weekend I’ve had this year omg.”
Further adding insult to injury, KSI shared a photo of both Paul and Tate post-fights with the caption: “Christmas came early,” along with a crying emoji. Despite Tate’s extensive background in various combat sports, including MMA and kickboxing, his lack of recent boxing experience became evident during the match.
DeMoor capitalized on Tate’s stamina issues, landing a decisive right hand that shifted the momentum of the fight. Post-match, Tate acknowledged DeMoor’s victory, stating, “I’m gonna have to go back, watch the fight, make a decision but Chase deserves his win.”
Following his defeat, Tate posted motivational messages on social media, emphasizing the importance of trying despite facing defeat. Tate’s sportsmanship was evident as he congratulated DeMoor and expressed his happiness for the opponent’s victory.
