Jake Paul Pays Tribute to Joshua’s Late Friends at Serrano vs. Tellez Event

Date:

Jake Paul announces a special tribute for Anthony Joshua’s late friends, Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami, at the Amanda Serrano vs. Danila Tellez event. The names of the deceased will be displayed in the center of the ring canvas as a heartfelt gesture following their tragic loss in a recent car accident in Nigeria.

Anthony Joshua narrowly escaped the fatal crash that claimed the lives of his friends while traveling in Nigeria shortly after his controversial fight with Jake Paul. In honor of Ayodele and Ghami, Paul and MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian have ensured that their names are prominently featured before the Puerto Rico event.

Expressing his condolences, Jake Paul shared a poignant social media post, emphasizing the importance of life over boxing. Joshua, who has been discharged from the hospital and returned to the UK, is preparing for his friends’ funeral ceremony in London. However, there are uncertainties regarding Joshua’s attendance at the service due to concerns about drawing unwanted attention.

In a peculiar turn of events, it was revealed that Joshua narrowly avoided the tragic accident by switching seats in the vehicle moments before the fatal collision. The driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, with his case scheduled for trial in January.

Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, the focus remains on honoring the memory of the departed friends as the boxing community mourns the loss and rallies around Anthony Joshua during this challenging time.
