A taxi driver in Mississippi survived a terrifying ordeal after being shot seven times by a customer. Brandy Littrell, 40, was preparing for her day when the incident occurred. The customer, Dontarius Magee, 20, kidnapped her at gunpoint while she was driving him to a local McDonald’s where he worked.
During the ordeal, Magee demanded her belongings and forced her to the backseat. He then took her to a secluded area, where he shot her multiple times. Miraculously, the bullets lodged in her fat, missing vital organs. Despite her injuries, Brandy managed to seek help and was rushed to the hospital.
Magee fled the scene, thinking he had killed her, but was later apprehended by the police. Brandy faced Magee in court four years later, where he pleaded guilty to attempted murder, armed robbery, carjacking, and kidnapping. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Brandy, although traumatized by the event, expressed her disappointment at Magee’s lack of remorse. She highlighted the physical and emotional impact of the attack during the court proceedings.
