Carey Price is set to return to the Bell Centre to celebrate his Hall of Fame induction, marking a special moment for the goaltender who has spent his entire 15-year NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens. The team announced that Price will be honored during a game against the Minnesota Wild on November 10, following his induction into the Hall of Fame the day before.
As the 62nd member of the organization to receive this prestigious honor, Price will join the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, reserved for former players who have achieved greatness in the sport of hockey. Throughout his career, Price has established himself as a record-holder for the Canadiens in games played and victories as a goaltender, boasting impressive stats with a 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage over 712 games.
In addition to his Hall of Fame induction, Price’s accolades include being a seven-time all-star and the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft. The Canadiens will kick off their pre-season on September 19 and begin their regular season on September 29 in Toronto against the Maple Leafs.
