Canada’s head coach, Cindy Tye, has announced the squad that will represent the country in the upcoming under-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland. In addition to the main squad, six alternates will join the team in Poland to aid in preparation before the World Cup commences. The players, coaches, and staff are set to convene in Lublin, Poland, on August 23, and later relocate to their tournament base camp in Bielsko-Biala on August 30. A closed-door match against Spain is scheduled for August 31 as part of the team’s preparation.
Canada, one of the 24 nations participating in the tournament, is placed in Group B. The team will kick off its campaign against England on September 5, followed by a match against Brazil on September 8. The group stage will conclude with a fixture against Tanzania on September 11.
The Canadian team secured its spot in the U-20 World Cup following a successful performance at the 2025 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship, where they clinched the regional title for the third time.
