A 62-year-old woman known as a beauty teacher has been taken into custody for allegedly fatally stabbing her 21-year-old boyfriend and concealing his body in her backyard in Bebedouro, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The victim, Alex Sandro da Silva Rocha, was found with stab wounds to his chest, believed to have been inflicted by scissors. Jussara Luzia Fernandes, the suspect, has reportedly admitted to the crime.
This incident comes shortly after Fernandes became a widow when her husband passed away in a swimming pool accident earlier this year. Authorities are now looking into both deaths, with Fernandes facing charges of homicide and hiding a body.
During a search of her residence, law enforcement discovered a freshly dug hole in the garden, where the victim’s remains were found. Fernandes initially claimed she buried her dog there, but further investigation revealed the truth.
Fernandes confessed to engaging in a heated argument with her boyfriend, leading her to use scissors in self-defense, resulting in his tragic death. She allegedly sought assistance to bury the body and involved her son in the process.
The victim’s mother, Ivonete Ribeiro da Silva, has expressed her son’s struggles in the relationship, describing Fernandes as controlling and possessive. She hopes for justice to prevail in the case.
Da Silva also accused Fernandes of deceitfully communicating with her son’s family after his demise, claiming she impersonated him during phone calls. The victim’s mother revealed that her son had planned to end the relationship due to Fernandes’ controlling behavior, citing previous incidents of violence.
