“Fatal Van Collision Claims Lives in South Korea”

Two individuals lost their lives, and eight others sustained severe injuries after a van collided with tourists in South Korea.

The incident occurred in Yeonpyeong-ri, Udo-myeon, Jeju-si, where the van inexplicably accelerated into a crowded area. Two victims went into cardiac arrest and subsequently passed away, while the injured were promptly transported to the hospital, with one in critical condition and seven with minor wounds.

The crash, as reported by the Jeju Fire and Safety Headquarters, took place around 2:47 pm local time, equivalent to 5:47 am in the UK. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
