With unwavering support from his family, friends, and the university community, Amundrud embarked on a grueling recovery journey.
Months of intense chemotherapy and a grueling physical rehabilitation regimen followed. Amundrud’s resilience and positive mindset propelled him forward, culminating in a triumphant moment when he received the news of being cancer-free. With his health restored and determination unshaken, Amundrud made a remarkable comeback, defying all odds to reclaim his position as the starting quarterback for the Saskatchewan Huskies.
