“Teacher Arrested for Grooming Student in Shared Google Doc”

Date:

A teacher, Elias Gordon Farley, aged 26, has been arrested for allegedly grooming an underage student using a shared Google document, leading to inappropriate sexual activities at school and his residence. The victim reported the abuse on November 18, resulting in Farley’s arrest on December 4. Farley, identified as a science teacher at Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Boca Raton, Florida, has since been terminated from his position.

The victim disclosed that the inappropriate interactions initiated as casual conversations during the previous academic year and escalated when Farley created a shared Google Doc over the summer. The document contained explicit content discussing sexual activities and coordinating private meetings between the teacher and the student.

According to the victim, the physical relationship began in mid-September within Farley’s office, involving inappropriate touching under clothing. The encounters persisted for weeks inside the office and a classroom. By late September and October, the illicit activities reportedly escalated to sexual acts, including intercourse on school premises.

The victim further claimed to have visited Farley’s apartment twice in early November, where multiple sexual encounters took place. During a search of Farley’s residence, authorities discovered evidence corroborating the victim’s account, including condom wrappers and furniture matching descriptions provided.

CCTV footage from the school captured Farley and the student entering his office together and spending time in a classroom on November 7. The victim confided in an art teacher on November 14, displaying bruises and bite marks allegedly inflicted by Farley, which led to his immediate suspension the following day.

Farley is currently detained at the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center, facing charges related to engaging in sexual activity with a minor. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities urging individuals with relevant information to contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office at (+1)561-688-3000.
