A tragic car accident has claimed the lives of a young beauty queen and her boyfriend just a week after she won her title. Alison Montano Guerrero and Jesus Eduardo Severiano García were involved in a fatal head-on collision with a lorry on Friday. Unfortunately, both of them did not survive the crash.
Alison, who was crowned Miss Teocaltiche 2025 only eight days before the accident, had expressed her deep affection for her hometown during the pageant. She emphasized that genuine beauty lies in showing respect and love towards others, rather than in material possessions like crowns and dresses.
The late beauty queen was a dedicated student studying Psychology and Education at Centro Universitario de los Altos, a part of the University of Guadalajara. Described as a committed scholar by local media, Alison’s university and the authorities in Teocaltiche mourned her passing, praising her for not only her external beauty but also her strong moral values.
Despite her minimal social media activity, Alison had a substantial following on Instagram, with over 5,000 followers. Her final post, posted the day before the accident, depicted her wearing a black hat and a brown top. The exact cause of the tragic crash on Mexico’s Jalostotitlán-Teocaltiche highway is still under investigation by the Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office.
