TUI introduces new flight routes to a Greek island with a current temperature of 24 degrees Celsius. These three direct routes to Kos from Bournemouth, Exeter, and London Stansted aim to provide convenient access to the Mediterranean haven. This launch marks the first direct connections from Bournemouth and Exeter to Kos, offering travelers the opportunity to explore the island’s renowned attractions such as its pristine beaches, historic sites, and charming towns.
London Stansted will resume its twice-weekly flights to Kos, providing an easy way for sun-seekers to bask in the island’s average summer temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. Kos is not only a budget-friendly destination but also rich in history, showcasing landmarks like the Asklepieion sanctuary, Roman Odeon, Neratzia Castle, and the picturesque village of Zia for stunning sunset views.
Known as the “cycling island,” Kos offers bike-friendly paths across its 30-mile expanse, making it a convenient and enjoyable way to explore the island. Travelers looking to visit Kos in November will need to take alternative routes with a layover, as there are no direct flights from UK airports during the winter. The journey typically involves a stop in Athens, extending the travel time to approximately six hours.
Neil Swanson, TUI UK and Ireland’s managing director, expressed excitement over the increased demand for Kos, highlighting the diverse holiday durations available to cater to various preferences. TUI’s packages offer a range of options for travelers seeking a quick getaway or a longer vacation to experience the beauty and history of Kos.
