“Virgin Media Flash Sale: Free Smart TVs with Select Packages”

Date:

Virgin Media is currently offering a limited-time promotion featuring free smart TVs as part of their ongoing flash sale to coincide with the FIFA World Cup, which ends today. The offer, launched before the tournament kick-off on June 11, allows customers to receive a complimentary £250 LG Smart TV when signing up for select Virgin TV and broadband packages.

Customers can choose from four different packages – Virgin’s Cinema, Sports, Cinema + Sports, or Max Volt bundles, each offering a variety of benefits such as over 200 TV channels, a free Netflix subscription, and optional Sky Sports and Cinema coverage.

Upon availing of the promotion, customers have the option to either receive a 43” LG Ultra HD smart TV valued at £249.99 or a £125 bill credit, effectively providing weeks of free service. However, customers must act fast as the offer must be claimed by 11.59 pm on Wednesday, May 27.

Virgin Media’s eligible TV packages come with free Netflix subscriptions and over 200 TV channels. The Cinema bundle, priced at £44.99, includes full Sky Cinema access and 362Mbps fibre broadband, while the Sport bundle, priced at £54.99, offers comprehensive Sky Sports coverage. Customers can also combine both bundles with the Sport + Cinema bundle for increased broadband speeds. For those seeking a premium experience, the Max Volt bundle, priced at £76.99, includes over 230 TV channels, Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, Netflix, high-speed broadband, and an unlimited O2 SIM.

In addition to the TV promotion, Virgin Media has introduced the One Touch Switch scheme for new customers, simplifying the switching process by handling communications with the previous provider on the customer’s behalf. It is important to note that Virgin’s monthly prices increase by £4 each April, a factor customers should consider before committing to a 24-month contract.

As an alternative, Sky is also offering discounted smart TVs in anticipation of the World Cup, with prices starting as low as £4.50 per month for the Sky Glass Air model. Additionally, Amazon has unveiled its rebranded Fire TV range and introduced the Ember Artline model at a reduced price to compete with Samsung’s The Frame TV.

Customers who have signed up for Virgin Media TV and broadband packages have shared positive reviews praising the brand for its fast broadband speeds and value for money. One customer commended the seamless experience from ordering to installation, highlighting the fast speeds and strong signals throughout their home. Another customer appreciated the helpfulness of the engineers during the installation process, despite encountering minor registration issues.

Overall, customers have expressed satisfaction with their decision to switch to Virgin Media, citing user-friendly controls, a wide range of channels, fast broadband speeds, and competitive pricing as key reasons for their positive experiences.
